HOW CAN I MAKE MY RESERVATION?

The easiest way is to book online. Within a minute you are able to preview our rates, make your vehicle and model selection, fill in the requested personal details and send us your reservation without even having to pay in advance or provide a credit card number necessarily.

As soon as you send us your reservation, you will receive an automated confirmation in the form of a rental voucher that you will have to present to our rep during the vehicle pick-up.

If there is an availability problem for your selected vehicle, we will contact you as soon as possible by email to suggest amendments and alternative options. If you don’t hear from us, other than the automated confirmation, that means that your reservation is accepted and valid assent.

IF I BOOK A BABY SEAT/BOOSTER , WILL IT BE DEFINITELY PROVIDED?

Child seats are mandatory in Greece and must be requested at the time of booking.

For older children, we provide booster seats. Milos Rentals guarantees all child seats or booster seats booked and confirmed at least 7 days before the rental start date.

The daily fee for each child seat or booster seat is 5€ (per day).

WHICH ARE THE DRIVER'S REQUIREMENTS TO RENT A SCOOTER, MOTORBIKE OR ATV?

A valid driver’s license type B is required for any ATVs (quads) .
License type AM, or higher is required for 50cc scooters.
A valid driver’s license type A1 or higher is required for 125cc scooters.
A valid driver’s license type A2 or higher is required for 200cc and 250cc.
License type B is also accepted for any scooter or for the 50cc ATV.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM AGE REQUIRED FOR THE DRIVERS?

You can rent a car from Milos Rentals Zakynthos if you have a minimum age of 19 (car groups A and B). The maximum age allowed by our insurance is 70.

To rent a scooter or motorbike, the minimum age is 18 except for the ATV 310cc which is 21.

HOW LONG SHOULD I HAVE THE DRIVER'S LICENSE? DO I NEED AN INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE?

For renting any car you need to have a valid Driver’s License for at least one year.
For renting a scooter, motorbike, or ATV, there is no such requirement.
International Driver’s License is required only from issuing countries which are not listed as contracting parties in the Convention on Road Traffic, Vienna 1968.

INSURANCE POLICY

WHAT IS THE INSURANCE PACKET OF MILOS RENTALS ZAKYNTHOS

Milos Rentals Zakynthos has C.D.W(Collision Damage Waiver=3rd party liability insurance) which means if you cause an accident, any damages to the vehicle of the third party will be covered by insurance. All damages to the rented scooter/quad will be paid by the renter. Payment is applicable according to the size of the damage and the value of the vehicle. Minor damages will also be charged to the renter. In case of accident or damage on the rented vehicle or towards 3rd party, please contact Milos Rentals (0030 6988533060) immediately and do not acknowledge responsibility to a 3rd party until you speak with Milos Rentals representative

WHAT 3RD PARTY INSURANCE COVERS

3rd party insurance covers only driving on asphalt roads. The client is not permitted to drive Milos Rentals vehicles off-road, on-mountain dirty roads, rocks, beaches e.t.c.

Accidents while the driver(s) are not referred to the rental agreement, are not covered.No insurance covers stolen personal items left in/on the vehicle.

INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER

Accidents while the driver(s) have excessed speed or drinking limits and used drugs.

Milos Rentals has the right to refuse to rent a vehicle to a person with a lack of driving skills, invalid or missing driver’s license, or after consideration that the driver would mean danger for his/her/3rd party’s health and safety and to the property of Milos Rentals.

PICK UP & DROP OFF

HOW DO I COLLECT MY CAR AT THE AIRPORT?

Currently, we do not operate a desk at Zakynthos airport but our representatives will meet-and-greet you in the arrival hall. They will hold a MILOS RENTALS sign. Please look for them and is advisable to have your mobile switched on in case we will need to contact you.

DOES PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF TAKE PLACE BEYOND WORKING HOURS?

You can pick up or drop off the rented car 24/7. For certain locations, a small delivery fee applies. The business hours are from 9 am to 23:00pm. Beyond these hours the delivery or collection fee is 20€.

WHAT IS YOUR FUEL POLICY?

We are offering a fair fuel policy. On return, the rented car or bike should have the same quantity of fuel as when received.

Most of the island’s resorts and pick-up points are included in the locations’ drop-down list where you can select your prefered location during the first step of the reservation process. You will be informed of any delivery fee if applies. If your accommodation’s location is not listed, please fill in the name and place of the hotel in the comments section.

WHAT IF I DELAY THE RETURN OF THE CAR?

You can contact us and we can arrange for you keeping the car longer, if it is available. You will be charged the local discounted rates for extra days. In case of no early notice, extra charge applies. In particular, a delay shorter than 1 hour is free of charge. The rate of a daily rental applies to delays longer than 1 hour.

DURING RENTAL PERIOD

CAN I TAKE THE CAR OR BIKE OUTSIDE OF ZAKYNTHOS?

You can only take the rented vehicle outside Zakynthos – but only within national borders – with written approval from MilosRentals. There is a flat charge of 40€ regardless of the distance covered or days outside the island.

Motorbikes and ATVs are not allowed to be taken outside Zakynthos due to insurance restrictions.

ARE HELMETS MANDATORY IN GREECE?

Yes they are and we provide them to our customers free of charge. The customer is responsible for any fines for not wearing a helmet and he is obliged to notify MILOS RENTALS company for any fines received.

CAN I PROLONG MY RENTAL AFTER THE RENTAL START DATE?

Yes of course you can, but we apply local discounted rates for the extended period

ROAD ASSISTANCE

We provide our customers with free road assistance in case of a mechanical failure or accident during business hours from 9 am to 23; 00 pm.
